Leadership and Team Management

• Owning the process, from ideation and prioritization of initiatives, detailed requirement and development, through deployment and GTM strategy and tracking adoption results, for the whole Supply Tech Pod, in collaboration with the higher management

Product Management

• Pioneered product vision and strategy for Auto-procurement and Inventory Planning System to have OOS less than 2% and improve Margin
• Spearheaded the ideation, design and implementation of Supplier Payments System which reduced the lead time by 1.3 days
• Developed PO Communication and Notification System which saved 120 manhours/week and also improved the Product Availability, by auto-generating POs and confirming with suppliers
• Designed an Inventory Planning Model which calculates the Projected Inventory, and DOI, and thus recommends the Purchase Order quantity to maintain adequate stock level
• Built Supplier Rating System engine to evaluate suppliers using historical data, and thus selecting the best supplier, which in turn improved margin by 0.82% and increased OTIF by 13.4%
• Conceptualized the Auto bulk-break and inter-warehouse stock transfer, which helped in reducing the Procurement costs, and thus improved the overall margin.

• Change & Cancellation - End to end product development for a backend application to return automated charges and penalties for Reissue and Refund (Reduced manual effort by 8x).
• Responsible for creating, updating & maintaining user stories and comments to the story board or backlog using JIRA and Trello Boards as and when needed.
• Creating mock-ups and wireframes for the UI screens.
• Post booking API Integrations – Integrated post booking APIs for AirAsia and Singapore Airlines. This process has helped the organization in increasing the overall Airline coverage.
• ERP System and Accounting – Updated the Accounting tools to efficiently manage client Accounts by building bulk-knock off feature, to knock-off 5000+ invoices and credit notes in a single click. This feature has helped the organization to keep the accounts/balance up-to-date for both clients and suppliers.
• Standardization, benchmarking and documentation for various processes – Created Product Requirement Documents for different scenarios (Credit Note for Extra Services, Penalty based on origin, Automated flow for past dated bookings).

Product Management (Agile Scrum Methodology)

• Automation of Invoice intervention - End to end product development for a backend scalable tool to take automated decisions without human intervention when certain parameters of invoices and Purchase Orders don't match (Reduced manual effort by 2.5x).
• Responsible for creating, updating & maintaining user stories and comments to the story board or backlog using JIRA and Trello Boards as and when needed.
• Creating mock-ups and wireframes for the UI screens.
• Auto-email crons – Created multiple auto-mailer systems for Pending credits and invoices, Invoicing Health Reports, Asking for open account statements, discarding invalid invoices. This process has helped the organization in reducing Average Monthly open Past due credit from $250,000 to $40,000
• Statement matching - ensured to match the Accounting statement of suppliers so that company can maintain appropriate and required Cash Flow. Thus, the output of this tool is being used as an input metric for the Planning & Strategy Team.
• Developed from scratch multiple dashboards for tracking various types of rebate modules (Volume Rebate, Growth Rebate, Promotional event discounts) for the suppliers, thus enhancing the Design & User Experience for Account Managers
• Standardization, benchmarking and documentation for various processes – Created Product Requirement Documents and Standard Operating Procedure documents for different scenarios (Additional Invoice for same Purchase Order, Address Correction Charges, 90 days old invoice)

Account Management

• First point-of-contact for dropship suppliers regarding any issue with their payments, ensured to make smooth-flow of their payments in a timely manner, which has helped in maintaining a cordial business relation with them.
• Handled 300+ suppliers’ accounts invoicing, credit receipts, payment terms, credit limit extensions based on increased sales.
• Recovered 95% due credits of past years (2016-18) amounting to $400,000, and settled all the past grievances and thus applied the credit receipts during payments to the supplier.

Team Management

• Led a team of 5 people, who drive day to day execution, development and reporting for the complete Supplier Invoicing & Payment System.
• Enabled an ecosystem of strong collaboration and tracking in the team to ensure 95%+ adherence to internal and external KPIs despite the volume of invoices, during holiday season of Cyber Monday, Halloween and Christmas.

Module: Risk Management (Credit Status Stamping & Limits Management)

• Responsible for organizing requirement gathering sessions, documenting the requirements, reviewing test cases and high-level scenarios, monitoring & maintaining defects log, clarifying the requirements & issues to the development team.
• Interact with business analysts and product owners to understand requirements & verify system requirements for the respective applications.
• Responsible for updating & maintaining user stories and comments to the storyboard or backlog using JIRA as and when needed.

• Developer: Development and optimization of web-pages as per business requirements specified by clients. (Environment worked in – PHP, WordPress, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL)
• Client-handling: Point of contact for client interaction to understand their requirements. Suggested optimal changes in approach for more efficient implementation after thoroughly analyzing the requirements.
• Project Management: Responsible for live reporting of project status to client which required daily creation of team status reports.

• Competitor Analysis of Brokerage Firms, Identified Customer preference of Broking Firm while investing in Financial Instruments based on various parameters
• Benchmarking of HDFC Securities Product and Services with respect to its competitors.
