Optis transformation is a migration project where we are converting legacy mainframe cobol code to Java. The main module that we are working on is dispute management system, cycling job and interest rate calculation for few of fiserv's clients. The main goal is to modernise the legacy system with additional functionality of retrieving dispute data of more than 3 months. The technical stack that we use is core Java, apache flink and kafka. The database used is mongodb. The flink job is scheduled to pick data from database and processes each account for the above mentioned functionalities and update database with the calculated values.

Responsibilities:

• Working on developing the module that does the cycling job along with interest rate calculation job and dispute management.
• Working on Apache Flink for distributed process application.
• Working on Apache Kafka for message streaming.
• Leading a team of 20 members.

Middleware (MW) serves as a module that transfers requests from front end to back end.
Client: Synchrony Financial

Role: Developer for LCM (Life Cycle Management) migration.

Responsibilities:

Role: Developer for RC Agile Front end.
Responsibilities:Convert the SOLARIS compiled WTX packets to LINUX compiled packets with environment configuration changes and modified the SOAP and REST web services based on LINUX environment changes.
Deployed the above changes in LINUX and tested successfully in LINUX Non - Production environment.
Also released the changes to LINUX Production environment.

• Develop PCF services based on front end requirements and write junit test cases and test the services in pcf cloud.
• Production release for the developed services and support after production.
• Experience in leading the team and helping them technically including the code review.

FSS Connect:

FSS Connect serves as middleware to all the other FSS products to route transactions. It routes the Transactions to the configured stations using the Station Manager along with load balancing using the configured nodes.

Responsibilities:

• Enhanced the User Interface Screens for the FSS Connect (Station and Remote IP Configuration, Batch Upload of Station).
• Tested the same and also other screens of the product.

FSS Instant Payment Systems:

FSS Instant Payment System (IPS) is an online payment eco system which ensures the movement of the money in a faster, easier and secured manner. IPS has its own clearance and settlement system and member banks can access this system to view their own settlement files. The product also supports dispute management system (DMS) which helps the member banks to raise the dispute.

Responsibilities:

• Implemented the business logic for the Transaction Processing Engine (TPE) - Core module that handled the transactions between the banks.
• Enhanced the SQL Stored Procedures that handled the Settlement Reports and the business logic for the Schedular Reports for the banks.
