Nolan Courtney

I have had two years of training in construction trades through the Ben Davis Area 31 career center and an additional five months of training as a student at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Wylie, Texas. I am a hard worker with a willingness to learn and develop new skills, and I am able to work effectively both in a team environment and individually. I also have a strong interest in technology, and although I have a limited background, I have a willingness to learn as much as I can in that area. I am safety-conscious with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different environments. I am ready to contribute to a dynamic team that is environmentally conscious and make a positive impact with the company, and as a frequent volunteer with a food distribution program, I have developed an appreciation for helping others.

I am currently pursuing a black belt in Kenpo Karate, which I have studied for five years. I have participated in soccer, track, cross-country running, and football. Until the age of 18, I was active in the youth program, at my church. I enjoy traveling and visiting new places, and watching sports.

Member of Sectional champions at Monrovia High School. I have earned up to my red belt in karate, and two weapons qualifications patches necessary to achieve my black belt. Graduated from Youth With A Mission in February this year following a successful mission trip to Sri Lanka and India with a small team that involved public speaking and working with youth.
