Development of Green-Synthesized ZnO Nanoparticles for Dye Degradation

  • Investigated sustainable methods for ZnO nanoparticle synthesis using Pisum sativum pod extract, an agricultural waste material.
  • Characterized nanoparticles through UV-Vis spectroscopy, zeta potential analysis, and size determination.
  • Demonstrated effective photocatalytic dye degradation with potential environmental applications.

Analysis of Bioactive Compounds in Bioluminescent Algae (Noctiluca scintillans)

  • Conducted sequential solvent extraction and total phenolic content analysis.
  • Identified bioactive compounds via GC-MS, revealing therapeutic potential of lipids such as octadecanoic acid and ergosterol.
