- I am passionately working towards the promotion and preservation of Sattriya Dance, one of the eight recognized classical dance forms of India, which originated in the sacred Satras of Assam. Through continuous efforts, I aim to create greater awareness about the rich cultural heritage, spiritual essence, and artistic excellence of this unique dance tradition.
- My endeavour includes encouraging young learners to take interest in Sattriya, organizing cultural performances and awareness programmes, and highlighting its historical and cultural significance among the wider community. I strongly believe that Sattriya is not merely a dance form, but a reflection of Assam’s devotional traditions, literature, music, and philosophy.
- By promoting Sattriya Dance, I aspire to contribute towards preserving our invaluable cultural legacy for future generations while also showcasing the beauty and identity of Assamese culture on broader national and international platforms.
