• Responsible for equipment maintenance to ensure availability & reliability for uninterrupted operations across the project also including formation of norms, utilization etc.
• Manage AMC services and to manage equipment requisitions with proper co-ordination at site.
• Monitoring Breakdown/Preventive/Scheduled maintenance of equipment across the projects and ensure effective deployment of resources to execute the same.
• Coordinates with site team to identify various conditional monitoring measures and timely resolution of major breakdowns (if any).
• Identifying equipment to be covered under AMC, preparing work order/ MoU, and monitor compliance of contract.
• Monitoring and approve scheduled maintenance recommended by OEM to follow with the standard methods while maintenance & repair services across project.
• Ensuring root cause analysis of major breakdowns or unplanned maintenance activities and prepares detailed report.
• Planning requirement of spares, ensure purchase as per technical standards and track the movement in coordination with stores in-charge at site.
• Analysing equipment efficiency and running costs to optimize them.
• Stays up to date on the latest technological advancements related to electrical /electronic and mechanical engineering.
• Compares the Y-o-Y equipment norms, utilization etc. with actuals, analyze variance and prepare variance report.
• Guides team in finalizing the norms, utilization of all kinds of equipment along with estimation of charge out rates.
• Manage the process of equipment requisition including new purchase, transfer, hire etc.
• Manage the allocation of resources including assets and manpower to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handling and Heading of Plant and machinery Department at site level.
• Guiding and monitoring Junior Staff at site level.
