• Explain technical specifications and process requirements to the manufacturing team, clarify technical ambiguities
• Understand and implement the new technologies from HQ which are applied in the production of components
• Brainchild and Implement cost down measures
• Integrate with suppliers for implementing intended production methods.

• Assist SCM in Supplier identification, initial evaluation, scrutiny, pre-assessment visits, supplier & component risk assessments & final selection of supplier etc
• Assist Quality department in System and EHS audits of supplier
• Lead process Audit at supplier and finalize manufacturing process with supplier
• Assist supplier to solve drawing or specification related queries
• In case supplier suggests some improvement points take up with Designers and coordinate
• Active role along with SQE during new supplier & component development until First Article (Prototype) Inspection is completed and is successfully accepted as per Siemens specifications
• During Zero Series production work upon optimization of manufacturing process, design changes, suggestions, improvement, assembly feedback so that production reaches to the series level and smooth flow of component supply.

• Handling design and manufacturing of jigs, fixtures, heavy fabricated jobs of various sizes
• Managing resource utilization & deciding on shop capabilities and give guidance to marketing to extend their orders
• Developing and implementing new processes and updating the production drawings accordingly
• Preparing process sheets and data comparison sheets which provides product manufacturing related all information
• Conceptualization and designing of various lifting and assembly fixtures, Hydro Plugs for up to 200kg/cm2 pressure & hot and cold tube bending dies
• Generating standard operating procedures, methods/process improvements
• Carrying out SMED projects
• Developing the vendor for competitive market conditions.

Handling product design and product modelling of Turbine Blade, Nacelle Cover and Nose Cone for various projects as per data given by AERT Netherlands Team.

Concept designing for parts, assembly and structures for any specific purpose. (Tooling’s for Blades and nacelle related to Wind energy).

Managing surface development of product model, material preparation and nesting drawings.

Developing and implementing new processes and updating the production manual accordingly.

Developing jigs & fixtures and lifting tools for nacelle cover and nose cone assembly. Designing and developing transportation tools for blades.

Getting approval of these drawings from AERT Netherlands Team.

Involved in designing and manufacturing of customized Sawing and drilling machine which is being designed and developed in collaboration with OTR(Netherland company)

Development of first prototype sample as per design.

Designing of cranes and hoists, which includes structural design such as deflection and bending moment analysis, electrical includes deciding on the motors, brakes etc. according to the load conditions

Verifying drawings prepared by the draughtsman and maintaining design data & product data software.

Supervising the manufacturing process of defence equipments namely KMT-6, (Anti Mine Plough Equipment), based on Russian design, and other major components of Excavators such as arm, boom, revolving frame & centre frame.
