Import Purchasing – Deal with import supplier in order to procure Raw material, all activities from PO stage to payment. Also co-ordinate with import documentation team to clear material in customs.
VMI (Vendor Manage Inventory) - To reduce in house inventory, provide forecast to supplier and maintain stock at supplier end. As per customer demand inward material in company.
Direct Purchase - Manage the procurement of raw material from domestic and imported sources as per organization specification and assuring the achievements of delivery, cost and quality targets.
Indirect Purchase - Responsible for procurement of spares, consumable items, co-ordinate with maintenance team.
Sourcing and Vendor Management – Supplier selection and approval, supplier audit, first part approval, sample lots and approval, consistency and reliability assurance, supplier evaluation
Supply chain Management – Planning (Demand forecast based on last 6 month sell data), Purchasing, Logistic, Suppliers Payments
Reviewing & Monitoring of Purchase request & converting into Purchase Orders, communicating to Suppliers on daily basis, follow up till material reach to plan.
RFQ – (Request For Quotation) Day to day technical buying, enquires and price comparison with existing / related product price.
Working on ERP (Infor) System, SAP MM module.
Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost saving targets and manage supplier to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule
Inventory Planning and Inventory Management based on consumption trend.
Maintains regular visits and / or communication with suppliers to address and resolve any process or quality issues in “real time”, and reports on the status of these areas to management on a regular and timely basis
