Roughly around the 4th semester of pursuing a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, when gas turbines were introduced to our curriculum, I took a deep dive further to understand the roles of an AME and aircraft maintenance engineering as a career. NPTEL was a precise source introduced by our former instructors to go beyond our usual curriculum, to help us get better insights into ourselves, and to find our interests that can later be worked upon as a career.
