  • Development of Automatic test system for Card/Pkg Level testing of all types of Power converters for the first time in ISRO using LABVIEW Software and design of stability algorithm using Fast Fourier transform(FFT) and Monte-Carlo (MC) method with Industry support.
  • Development Of Compact Automated Test System (CATS) for package level testing of Power Converters by incorporating all the requirement from various spacecraft missions.
  • Design of Compact 20W Power converter with 3 output using fly back topology with 500 KHz switching and Design of Planar transformer based DC-DC converter for High current, Low voltage applications.
  • Responsible for the realisation of power converters under project & production mode – 725 Power packages, Battery discharge regulators (BDRs), Solid state relay (SSR) packages have been delivered during this period for all GEO/LEO, Scientific Projects and Human Space Programs.
  • Responsible for the realisation of Input and output Relay packages, Low dropout regulators, input and output Sequencer packages and drop resistance & control (DRC) packages – 100 Nos. for all the LEO, GEO, S/S and Human space programme have been delivered during this period.
  • As an alternate chairman, LSRB, Responsible for Problem Solving and Non-Conformance Management for Power converters/Relay packages/Low drop out regulators, Sequencer Packages and DRCs. Around 130 major Non conformances have been solved/corrective actions have been implemented after discussing in the appropriate committee.
  • End to end realisation including component procurement by industry partners (under Mode-6) for Power converter for Human space programme, Chandrayaan-3 and High power EMI filters.

  • As a Deputy project Director for Resourcesat - 2A and EMISAT S/C project during this period, I was responsible for the realization of Power packages, Power converters, input and output payload switching relay packages for LISS-3, LISS-4, AWIFS-A/B and Mainframe converters.
  • Realisation of Cuk, Pushpull, fly back and forward power converters with different power rating (5/20/30/40/50 and 60W) for mainframe and Payload subsystem requirement.
  • 400 power converters packages and 450 auxiliary packages such as input/output relay packages, Thruster zener packages and magnetic torquer packages, transzorb packages have been delivered for multiple projects such as Scatsat, Cartosat, Astrosat, Microsat, Hysis under LEO programs and GSAT 7,9,19 under GEO programs, IRNSS1C,1D,1E,1F,1G, 1H and 1E projects, Mars orbiter missions (MoM) and Chandrayaan 1 and 2.
  • Attended and contributed for the Base line and critical design reviews, configuration management & control for power hardware, project status reviews and Budgetary management for the above projects.
