
The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India under its “Waste to Wealth” Mission initiated applications for the award of Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship to recognize students, community workers/self-help groups, and municipal/sanitary workers who are engaged in tackling the enormous challenge of waste management, scientifically and sustainably. The fellowship is an initiative to empower young innovators who are engaged in community work of waste management/awareness campaigns/waste surveys/studies, etc. as Swachhta Saarthis and implement actions to reduce waste for a greener planet.

Sphoorthi Theatre for Educational Puppetry, Art, and Craft -STEPARC Under the Society's Act of 2001, the Government of Andhra.Pradesh, was established in 2005. Its President is Srinivasan Raghu, an engineer with advanced training. I work as the Director of organizations and also one of the founding members. Creating an open platform to reach out to like-minded people, experts, art lovers, and amateurs will be a key component of the goal as it aims to preserve, sustain, and encourage the tradition of puppetry art.
Outstanding Individuals in the Cultural Fields are given Senior/Junior Fellowships each year. I am honoured to get a Senior Fellowship in Folk/Traditional Indigenous Art—Puppetry for the academic year 2021–2022 this year.
Under The Societies Registration Act, 1860, UNIMA India was formally established on December 22, 1986, in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Bringing together puppeteers from India and over 60 other countries, UNIMA India is an organization committed to fostering worldwide friendship through the medium of puppetry. To serve, connect, and develop Indian Puppetry with the globe, I have been elected as General Secretary for the years 2023-25.
