After completing my student teaching in sixth grade, I was offered an opportunity to fulfill a job as a temporary teacher in fifth grade. I completed yet another temporary job in a fourth grade classroom. During this time, I developed multiple skills in the classroom setting; such as, focusing on student engagement, classroom management, implementing teaching strategies, collaborate with teammates, lesson planning, and communicating with parents. These experiences allowed me to manage diverse learning and create a positive atmosphere into my current classroom. Presently, I have gained confidence as a teacher as I finish my second year as a sixth grade teacher.
