VOLTAGE/FREQUNECY CONTROL OF THREE PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR DRIVEN BY VSI BASED ON SVPWM.
This works present a sample and efficient method for the open and cloosed loop controlling a three phase induction motor driven by three phase voltage source inverter VSI.The space vector pluse with modulation SVPWM is used a controller for VSI.A three-phase supply with variable amplitude and variable frequency is used to control the starting current and the speed of three-phase motor.
Proportional and intergral controller(PI) is used the feedback closed loop control and its gain values are calculated using simulink turner.A complete simulink model is built to show the response of the motor when subjected to external torque.simulation results showed the system faced external torque values applied and give the desired response when tested.
