Summary

As a behavior change strategist, I facilitate the development of impactful programmes and communication strategies. I have designed and implemented research projects at scale, managed teams, clients, and multiple stakeholders. I have extensive experience in customized research, monitoring & evaluation, insight generation and presentation of findings. I specialize in communication & behavior change; offering solutions to clients by way of communication testing, evaluations and strategic inputs in the behavior change domain. I have spent time in board rooms and grassroots working on various development issues. I am an analytical thinker, relentless learner, and an inclusive leader. Key Projects

  • Unpacking Vaccine Hesitancy in India: Extending research support to Ministry of Health and GAVI Alliance to identify barriers, design, and implement pilot interventions for addressing vaccine hesitancy in geographies with low immunization coverage. A human centric approach was utilized for creative problem-solving by understanding who is at the core of the problem, engaging with their life and aspirations and deepen the understanding of barriers and motivations.
  • Research for external facing narrative development: An in-depth qualitative assessment of perception and imagery of The Bill & Melinda GAtes Foundation, as a brand.
  • Rapid Survey for tracking of financial relief for COVID-19: Gathering rapid evidence to help decision-makers prepare effective policy responses to the economic crisis due to the pandemic.
  • Gendered socio-economic impacts of COVID-19 in India: Conducting a study to understand the gendered impact of the crisis and to be able to provide actionable intelligence to uncover the extent of challenges faced by women in this crisis and help policymakers make informed decisions during the crisis
  • Concurrent Monitoring, sustainability measurement and evaluation of Handwashing and Immunization Intervention in Uttar Pradesh: A unique partnership between Gavi Alliance and Unilever to address under 5 mortality through impacting handwashing with soap and immunization behaviors.
  • Addressing the uptake of Cervical cancer screening in Madhya Pradesh: A human centric design approach understand the cancer screening ecosystem by exploring perceptions, barriers across demand (women across age groups, children, Husband, other family members and community members) and supply side stakeholder (frontline workers, nurse, doctors, oncologist, gynaecologist, and state administration).
  • Women and ride-hailing in Sri Lanka: Identifying risks and opportunities for women in ride-hailing and determine how ride-hailing can close economic and social gaps between men and women.
  • Evaluation for HIV prevention intervention using mobile technology among MSM, FHI 360
  • Assessment of Social Pension Scheme and Direct Benefit Transfers, The World Bank
  • Reach & Recall measurement of radio campaigns on seat belt use, road safety and good Samaritan law, SaveLife Foundation
  • Reach and recall of family planning mass media communication campaign across 13 states in India, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
