  • Successfully identified and resolved a CRON job issue in a campaign scheduling feature, ensuring a major release without defects. This involved backend and frontend integration testing to identify duplicate campaign launches.

Favorite Defect

Any defect that is blocking the functionality and reported by QA before the release is a good catch but one Defect that really brushed out our mind and was narrowed down at very last moment was the best for me. It was an issue related when a scheduled campaign was launched twice. We validated all the combinations from daily options to weekly and monthly options but narrowed it down at last that this was an issue with the CRON job being executed at the back end, which was launching the campaign twice one being the time while scheduling and the other the time when the campaign was scheduled. This was interesting because everyone was curious to know the root cause and it was the integration testing of frontend and backend of the application that helped us to narrow down this issue and got it fixed before the release.
