• Administer the Company’s quality policy according to corporate standards ensuring compliance with legal or corporate specifications and work towards maintaining a perfect balance between contractual obligations and standard procedural constraints of any civil engineering projects requirement. Review and oversee quality procedures and ensure that company and quality requirements are being met with emphasis on accurate detailing and speedy fulfillment of compliance to standard QA/ QC requirements. Prepare, develop, review and implement project specific Quality Plans, Check lists and ITPs, concurrent with Client requirements. Also develop quality inspection and test plans. Work alongside Architects, MEP Consultants, Structural Consultants, Quantity Surveyors, Main Contractors, Contractors and Clients in order to achieve milestones or deadlines well in advance. Process material submittals, Method Statements and Subcontractor Approval Requests. Carry out contract reviews and implementation of method Statements of various contractors. Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth and highly efficient process and quality control systems. Monitor trend and analyze all defects and failure rates. Ensure accuracy and completeness of photographic records for Quality Control, during project and defect liability period. Direct inspection and testing procedures of work and analyze quality concerns identified. Ensure that corrective action plans are initiated and monitored and management appraised of significant quality issues and progress. Guide the preparation of detailed reports on site, progress, status and quality in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Review as-built drawings, related to all discipline, and ensure its compliance with design requirements, contract requirements, properly coordinated with other disciplines and submitted as per the approved schedules. Review warranties, spare parts, operation & maintenance manuals of trades related to all discipline and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Reviewed and check Close-Out Report as submitted by the contractor. Witness testing & commissioning activities related to all discipline and ensure full compliance with project requirements. Conduct site inspection for Snagging and de-snagging of Contractor’s completed works. Checked and reviewed civil/structural/architectural design/shop/as-built drawings. Conduct site work activities in relation to HSE guidelines, IR’s, NCR’s, Snagging, De-snagging and Defects inspection for final handover of the projects. Prepare transmittals, letters and correspondence of the project. Attend clients and contractor’s construction meeting with the managers. Provide the necessary back- up information to the Project Manager regarding contractor’s site issues relating to Quality control and assurance during implementation phase.
