Responsibilities

Lead the team to develop in following aspects -

• Process improvement and establishment in assembly, testing and special processes (Ultrasonic welding, Laser welding, Laser marking, Pressing, Screwing, Cleaning and Molding)
• Machine commissioning
• Process investigation and troubleshooting
• Support to improve OEE and first pass yield
• Support for cost reduction, production ramp-up, DAP (Design Approval Process), FMEA etc

Key Achievements

• Machine commissioning of injector assembly line, test line, injection molding machine and cleaning machines
• Establishment of vision system at end of injector testing line to bring more robustness and stability in process to eliminate customer complaint
• Defect cost reduction due to pseudo rejection on injector testing line on vision systems
• Injection molding process made more stable by applying scientific injection molding study
• Energy conservation project accomplished on cleaning process which indirectly impacted on CO2 reduction
• This is rewarded as best performer team member
• Cutting tool establishment for gun drilling, turning, boring, step drilling and forming operations
• Defect cost reduction in machining area by salvaging form cutting tool (Sinker)
• Developed cutting tool offset detection program in vertical machining centre for tool life sustenance
• Tool life increased for form boring tool which resulted in cost reduction.

Company is ISO / TS 16949- 2002 certified auto ancillary company and has its own automotive machining division at Nagpur for machining Cylinder Head. Company supplies cylinder head to M & M, TELCO & export to Germany, USA, Italy, South Africa etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of machine parts during maintenance activities
• Design and development of jigs and fixtures for machining operation
• Design of attribute, variable & special gauges
• Maintain Design & Development documentation
• Accomplish in-house projects of fixtures, right from design to SOP

This is an ISO 9001- 2000 certified company manufactures Swing Arm Assembly of two wheelers and Trailing Arm & Floor Board of three-wheelers for Bajaj Auto Ltd. Company has setup of welding machines and pressing machines

Responsibilities

• Develop parts of product for cost reduction
• Design and develop welding fixtures for swing arm assembly for tack welding, full welding etc.
• Relation gauges, snap gauges, plug gauges and also design press tools with effective use of Solid edge and Auto-CAD

Key Achievements

• Developed part i.e., Gusset of swing arm assembly for full welding which minimized rework and increased strength of weld

CAD Consultant and Training Center.

Responsibilities

• Used computer-aided design software to prepare blueprints and schematics.
• Developed CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and site visits.
• Calculated dimensions and allowances with accurate precision for project specifications.
• Interpreted technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports to make revisions to CAD drawings.
