Project: Research Manager
About JCR:
Research Manager is a tool that tracks the commission earned when Buy side (Asset Manager) purchases assets from Sell side (Brokers). A portion of this commission is allocated for research. RM pools this portion of the commission into a research fund for the Buy side. Buy side values the research that they consume and "tells" the Sell side to periodically make payments to research providers on AM's behalf, out of the pooled funds.

Project Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements from product team.
• Design & maintain UI architecture.
• Collaborate with team on implementing new features.
• Develop different features of the application using Angular 11 & S&P Global's internal cupcake library .
• Use D3 charts library for different data visualization requirements.
• Utilize ag-grid's extensive features for various grid implementation for different features.
• Write unit test cases using Jasmine framework and Karma for test case execution to maintain more than 80% code coverage in sonar dashboard.
• Write robust front-end code to ensure better code quality.

Project: JCR (Web of Science)

About JCR:

The Journal Citation Reports (JCR) allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from approximately 21,000 scholarly and technical journals and conference proceedings from more than 3,300 publishers in over 60 countries/territories. Journal Citation Reports is the only source of citation data on journals and includes virtually all specialties in the areas of science, technology, and social sciences.

Project Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements from Product team during refinement sessions.
• Design & Maintain UI architecture.
• Collaborate with team on implementing new features.
• Develop different features of the application using Angular 13 & Clarivate’s CDX (Clarivate Digital Experience)Library written on top of angular material library.
• Implement front-end contract and mock JSON to integrate with back-end APIs
• Write unit test cases using Jasmine framework and Karma for test case execution to maintain more than 80% code coverage in sonar dashboard.
• Use AmCharts library for different data visualization requirements.
• Ensure the code qualifies for web accessibility and testing it in NVDA/Axe tools to make it accessible to disabled people.
• Use Chrome Developer Tools to ensure front-end code and assets were optimized and high-quality.
• Write robust front-end code to ensure better code quality.
• Fix bugs and close them on time.

Worked for Clarivate (Clarivate being HCL's client) on JCR product, later was hired as a full time employee by Clarivate.

Project: SPADE

About SPADE

SPADE Portal was a one-stop shop for creating different projects and associating users to different tools like Rally, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube and Artifactory. Also, enabling customers to track their projects and helping developers to maintain code, manage builds and artifacts efficiently.

Project Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design & Maintain UI architecture.
• Develop the portal using Angular 5 & Cisco’s own customized CSS files – ‘Cisco-UI-Kit.
• Use Material Design 2 to design different components of the portal.

Infosys Limited, Mysore- Systems Engineer Trainee

Duration: Oct’16 – Mar‘17

• Developed an application called ‘Billing’ as POC where user can keep track of their monthly data usage details, see plan details, switch to a different plan etc.
• The application was developed using JAX-RS Jersey for writing REST APIs.
• User Interface was designed with Angular 2.
• Learned the basics of various technologies like HTML, CSS, Java, Bootstrap and Angular, Hibernate as part of training.
