The objective is to provide a responsive and efficient conversational experience with optimized resource usage. This project aims to offer a lightweight, locally deployable chatbot to address the challenges of latency and privacy associated with cloud-based chatbots. It enables users to interact with the AI model in real-time, receiving token-by-token responses through asynchronous message streaming managed by Chainlit. The system can be deployed in customer support, education, healthcare, or other industries where real-time interaction is critical. By using quantization and knowledge distillation techniques, the chatbot operates smoothly on devices with limited hardware resources. With the increasing popularity of AI-based assistants, businesses can benefit from deploying this chatbot locally to avoid cloud dependency and ensure data privacy, while still delivering the performance expected from modern AI-powered systems.
