Ensure all Equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards and constant state of working order. Lead the plant maintenance cost and budgeting process, and seek approval from Plant Head basis annual maintenance plans. Oversee deployment of own budget and ensure efficient utilization and minimum variance in target v/s actual, monitor day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures. Planning & Review: Develop preventive and annual maintenance schedule for the plant, seek inputs from Production, ) Establish and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) like MTBF, MTTR, MTTF, OEE, PMP, and Maintenance Backlog asset uptime, Manage all short- and medium-term plant operational and planning activities, including close co-ordination with the maintenance function to ensure equipment and systems are in optimum operating condition and that downtime is kept to a minimum. Review and approved shift rosters, assign responsibilities, and monitor workforce performance. Monitor and analyses weekly/monthly performance of teams through structured review meetings and initiate corrective actions on gaps in performance to meet customer requirements. Review maintenance related reports, Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance management of plant machinery, monitor adherence to all maintenance schedules and guide team to take corrective measures to rectify major issues. Organize for spares, tools and labour under proactive and preventive maintenance to ensure adherence to production and maintenance schedule. Responsible for collaboration with the materials department, analyzing data to optimize inventory levels, and ensuring a well-organized supply chain for seamless operations. ensuring strict adherence to defined norms and meeting inventory targets consistently for efficient operations.People Management: Participate in review / recruitment activities & ensure retention / engagement of own team. Set performance objectives of own team, evaluate / appraise team members and provide regular feedback & guidance. Oversee and optimize the procurement, Inventory and management of all maintenance-related supplies and equipment. Manage, prepare and be accountable for annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets associated with maintaining the plant Equipment Develop the Maintenance-departmental strategy in line with the Plant’s strategy to ensure the equipment efficiency. report to the Plant General Manager on the operational. Lead the Maintenance management meetings so that the entire team is clear on the standards required and the maintenance programs that are underway. Lead the Plant Turnaround & Shutdown Plan and execute the major plant shutdowns or turnarounds. Coordinate shutdown/turnaround planning (TARs) to ensure minimal impact on production, Team Leadership & Development, Coordinate cross-functional teams, safety measures, and logistical support. Ensure successful startup post-turnaround within budget and schedule. Provide regular reports to senior management on, Asset health, Maintenance KPIs, Project progress. Risk assessments and mitigations, Communicate with other departments (Operations, Projects, HSE, Procurement). Maintenance Execution Oversight.
