Description:

TAs IoT devices work with low power consumption(Battery power) in other words they are energy constrained so if

they will directly communicate to cloud/internet it won’t be eff ective in terms of power. So they communicate with

Gateway first using short range wireless transmission modes/network like ZigBee, Bluetooth, etc as they consume

less power or they can also be connected using long range like Cellular and WiFi etc.

Responsibility:

• Study & schematic design of cards, components selection and their simulation

Description:

Project is a signaling equipment project that involves the design, installation, and commissioning of a digital axle

counter (DAC) solution.

MSDAC projects detect track vacancies for multiple lines in a station or yard. They can be installed in stations or

yards and monitor all track sections, including main lines, platform lines, and sidings.

MSDAC projects can improve the efficiency of auto signals, reduce the failure rate, and reduce the detention of

trains at signals. They can also make it easier to monitor auto signaling.

Responsibility:

• Study & design schematic of electronic cards, components selection and their simulation

in PCB design.

• Design, test and Debug individual card like 24V to 120V DC to Dc converter,SDC,MCC,Relay card,FOC,Event logger,VR8,Modem8,Voting module,CPU,surge protection,Power Data Coupling Unit(PDCU).

• Altera quartus II, FPGA Logic design with Analog and Digital & Mixed signals.

• VHDL programming experience with Ring Counter & Flip flop and logic gates design.

• Hardware interfacing - RS485, RS232, I2C, SPI/UART, USB, Modbus/CAN, Ethernet,

OFC etc.
