1) Design of G+1 duplex building

The objective of this project was to plan, analyze, and design a G+1 (ground plus first floor) duplex residential building suitable for a nuclear family

• Floor plans and elevations were created using AutoCAD
• Structural elements (beams, columns, slabs) were analyzed and designed using STAAD.Pro as per IS codes
• Calculated loads, estimated materials, and cost using Excel
• Basic features like rainwater harvesting and natural lighting were included

2) Rainwater harvesting model for campus

This project focused on designing a rainwater harvesting system for the college campus to collect and reuse rainwater

• Calculated average rainfall and roof catchment area
• Estimate the amount of water that can be collected annually
• Designed the layout of gutters, pipelines, storage tanks, and recharge pits
• Created basic system drawings using AutoCAD
• Promoted the sustainable use of water and reduced groundwater usage.
