Hackathon

Predictive Analytics and Android App for BSA:

  Idea/Goal

  • Predictive analytics on data-points from Blind Spot Assist and Driving Assistance for Daimler Trucks.
  • Data-monetization with Aftersales, fleet-management and urban-planning department.
  • Android App integrating above information.
  • Derive insights to support effective road infra design.

Accolade

  • The idea was congregated with the “Best Idea” award for SoftHack.
  • Runner’s up in OpenHack and was encouraged by the DTOS and DTICI leadership team to go ahead for funding round.

Internship

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India(MBRDI)

Project - Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for Multiple Languages : Developed a upgraded model which could test Automation Framework for validating and Re-use of test cases for different languages. In addition to this identified and validated OCR Engines for different languages suitable for HMI.

Academic Projects

Advanced Fuel Indication System : My team and I developed a multi-feature regression to accurately display the quantity of fuel in the tank and forecast the maximum distance that can be driven with that amount of fuel. creating a two-wheeled model with sensors to detect parameters like speed, distance, load, and traffic conditions.

YOLO v3 Architecture for Pedestrian Detection and Comparison to YOLO v5 :  In this project, we developed a model which could detect a pedestrian in real time using YOLOv3, and we compared the performance metrics we got after detection using YOLOv3 and YOLOv5.

Automatic Pesticide Sprayer : Our objective was to build an automated pesticide sprayer to completely eliminate manual intervention in this process of pesticide spraying which has a number of negative consequences on human health.

Automatic Pick And Place Trainable Robot : I developed a robot that assisted in picking up objects from one place and putting them in another; the hardware was installed using an Arduino board and C code was written.
