Project Description:

• US based banking and brokerage firm that offers an electronic trading platform for the purchase and sale of Compliance Solutions Technology is a line of business which create applications for trade rules for Schwab internal workforce and for Schwab institutional and corporate clients
• Employer managed trade rules is an ERP tool which prevents securities such as equity, fixed income and derivatives from being traded by the employee, the rules can be applied based on employee id by the employer.

Responsibilities:

• Wrote and developed new and well-tested code for project
• Evaluated project requirements, identified challenges and proposed alternatives using research and data
• Aligned projects with requirements and specifications to deliver above-benchmark results
• Performed software testing and diagnosis, supporting ongoing project development
• Created automation scenarios and scripts for the newly created functionality
• Built and maintained code libraries used to produce consistent and reliable code
• Developed testable software using agile methodologies to create high-quality deliverables
• Currently working on Java migration task from Java 8 to Java 17(in progress).
• Reviewed and modified unit and integration tests to improve software quality and reliability.
• Integrated third-party APIs into existing systems as needed for enhanced functionalities.
• Modified existing software to correct errors, adapt to newly implemented hardware or upgrade interfaces.

Description: In charitable project, customer can have their own accounts with Schwab and donate the grants to charities

Responsibilities: Involved in new requirements implementation and enhancing the existing functionality

• Wrote and developed new and well-tested code for project
• Worked on bug fixes and sonar code smells in sprint model
• Perform unit testing for successful and negative scenarios.
• We have services integrated with PhilDB to load and sync the data to apache solr
• Also, there is a service integrated with RabbitMQ to do real time updates.
