• DESCRIPTION: PROJECT MANAGES 5 EXADATA ELASTIC RACKS(X6-2, X7-2 AND X9M-2) SERVERS RUNNING 100+ ORACLE DATABASES (PROD AND NON-PROD), TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT: ORACLE database 12cR2, Oracle database 19.17, Grid infrastructure 19.18 , RAC, ASM, OEM13.5, Data guard, RMAN, OCI classic cloud, EXADATA,BMC Remedy, Data Pump (expdp/impdp), EXADATA Patching
• ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitoring of databases and nodes to ensure 100% availability
• Database upgrades from 11.2.0.4 to 19.17 and from 12c to 19.17.0.0 using DBUA and manual method
• Performed switchover from Primary database to Data Guard using manual as well as DGMGRL
• Troubleshooting Data guard issues using latest 12.2 features like recovering standby using service name
• Preparing technical document to perform Oracle Exadata image upgrade for compute node, storage node and InfiniBand switches
• Upgrading image of storage node and compute node from 20.1.15.0.0.211.13 to 22.1.1.0.0.220803 and from 22.1.1.0.0.220803 to 22.1.8.0.0.230211
• Changed the DNS and NTP of Compute node, cell node, Ethernet switches, ILOM & IB switches
• Taking logical data backup using Expdp/Impdp utilities
• Configuring Newly inducted Exadata X9M systems to test readiness for use
