Server Failure Prediction using Server Log Analytics - Sep 2020 - Feb 2021 - " Innodatatics -USA"

  • Business Constrain :- To predict server prediction about different level of error and reduce system outage
  • Methodology :- CRISP DM
  • Focus Area: - Descriptive & Predictive analysis

Synopsis - Using logs generated from various sources project team was able to predict warning/ errors which could happen in future and thus reduce or remove the impact. Team used KNN machine learning to generate relationship between various errors category. ~15000 record was extracted and EDA conducted including variables impacting the relationship. During the course of study, team learnt that warning and error messages occurs in sequence. Once the sequence got surfaced, team applied mathematical model for prediction of probable errors.

  • Project Outcome : - Team created HTML on which post input of current error/warning code would predict upcoming issue

Role : My contribution in the project was in the Exploratory data analysis , final presentation preparation and demonstration with project sponsor. I was responsible to co-ordinate with Project Sponsor, Domain expert & project guide.
