- In my current role as the Head of the Civil Design Department, I am responsible for overseeing a team of 25 civil engineers who specialize in RCC and Steel Structures design. Our primary focus is on designing the Power Plants,Balance of Plants in Power Plants, which includes Roads and Drainage Systems.
- To ensure seamless project execution, I actively coordinate with the project site execution team. This collaboration allows me to understand their priorities and engineering drawing requirements. I also provide on-site support, resolve any interface issues that arise, and conduct regular site visits to ensure smooth progress and address any potential challenges.
- Reviewed performance results to target and take corrective measures with authorization and escalation.
- Enacted contingency plans, escalated and directed system problems and issues and participated in post-mortem analysis to provide input for process improvements.
- Employed best practices and management controls to provide superior service to internal and external customers.
- Before my current position, my career has been centered around the design of RCC and Steel Structures for Power Plants ranging from 110 MW to 800 MW since 2001. This encompassed designing the roads and drainage systems within these power plants.
- Starting in 2013, I progressed to the role of Engineering Manager, where I successfully led a team on various projects. As my responsibilities grew, I transitioned into the role of Section Head, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Currently, I hold the position of Head of the Civil Engineering Department, where I provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire department.
