To provide strategic and operational financial leadership to Bangladesh Program which is primarily working with Rohingya Refugee by developing budgeting, SoPs, operational guidelines and prepare donor and government reports. Worked with 11 member finance team and an annual budget of 19 m USD.

• Revised Finance Function Organogram and recruited new staff to comply with donor and local regulations
• Trained new and existing staff members in various financial procedures to strengthen financial and budget management system
• Consulted with representatives of regulatory agencies to complete accurate filings and uphold strict compliance of NGOAB
• Rolled out Microsoft Dynamics accounting reconciliation process for year 2019 and completed

Position's purpose to serve rapid onset and surge capacity to Humanitarian Team of Save the Children. The broader responsibilities were

• Setup finance function of an emergency program and lead the function
• Provide surge capacities in budget and policy frame work developments
• Manage humanitarian grants, sub-awards, donor reporting, close outs and donor audits
• Capacity Build finance, and non-finance team on humanitarian finance and grant management
• Deployed to manage $30m of Northern Syria Program from Turkey
• Reconciled five year FCDO / DFID grants for transition and hand over in South Sudan, worked on $13M USG grant proposal, supported UNHCR audit and trained national staff in reporting Health Pooled Fund
• Developed a master budget of $22m for Nepal Earthquake response and managed $27m worth of grants from DEC,UNICEF, OFDA and others
• Led Cyclone Response program in Fiji, recruited and trained staff of $7.5m program
• Supported $11m EU funded Ebola Response Audit programs in Liberia
• Reconciled and Reported four member consortium project of $27m in Mozambique
• Established North East Nigeria Emergency Response Finance Function of $ 17m , recruited national and international staff and handed over the function
• Conducted mock audits of three year old Lebanon Cash Consortium program, and prepared final financial report to ECHO and reconciled beneficiary data

Interim Regional Accountant of Seven Country Finance functions and reconcile restricted donor funded program grant balances

• Reconciled and closed 27 restricted contracts funded by various donors
• During this three month period reconciled balance sheet items for three country programs
• Complied monthly monitoring report for regional management team
• Updated the regional program cash forecast and submitted to Regional Finance Manager and HQ Finance
• Conducted workshop for procurement teams on invoice accruals and reconciliation

Worked for food security and livelihood program at Hodeidah governorate of Yemen, to support in distributing conditional and unconditional cash to host and migrated communities.

• Worked with local post office to distribute unconditional cash transfer to 23,000 beneficiaries
• Engaged with local developer in developing barcoded card to identify beneficiaries
• Reconciled beneficiaries distribution data with beneficiaries registration

Supported Oxfam GB's Malakal Urban Livelihood Response Program in South Sudan

• Reviewed existing finance and strengthened system to establish to scale up

• Established internal control mechanism together with Program Manager and Logistics Manager
• Liaised with local bank to support of piloting urban cash program for 2000 beneficiaries

Worked with Regional Funding Team to Support Restricted Grants budgeting and Reporting for South Asia Region

• Supported Six Countries Finance and Funding Team with an average annual budget of $40m program
• Served as Regional Security Focal point for People Soft and trained finance and funding teams in PeopleSoft Contract Management module
• Tested the global rollout of modified funding report tool

• Maintained day to day book keeping and expenses tracking records of 17 implementing partners in South India
• Performed partner budget monitoring visit for all 17 partners and conducted partner budget management workshop to train their staff on budget management
• Managed to distribute Children Education Enhancement materials to all integrated child development centers in Andaman Islands
