Working as a Project in charge for MIA Facility my roles and responsibilities as a BOM Management person are

• Cross validation the basic inputs from the R&D team for the respective models.
• Ensuring EBOM (Complete BOM) from the pilot team and sales team.
• Consolidating PSM (Product Specification Module) from the base inputs for the models.
• Deriving Module BOM (For Cockpit, Front & Rear Chassis modules) for production based on the specification of each individual part(s).
• Monitored project progress, ensuring conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• At the pilot events (in Korea) validating the assembly process based on the assembly drawings and finalizing the hardware & assembly scopes for the modules (Cockpit, Front & Rear Chassis).
• After pilot events corrections, coordinating the trail events in MIA plant based on the HQ requirements.
• Ensuring material readiness for the trail events & validating assembly once again to eliminate further issues.
• Validating and raising engineering change requests to the designer for Drawings & BOM related issues faced in the pilot events.
• Creating basic Material Master for the model and addition of BOM in ERP.
• Conforming the material type for the parts & effective point implementations.
• Managing BOM (for parts) & Mapping hardware in ERP for the modules.
• Ensuring the consumption of parts in ERP through the Z-Codes and solving the issues in case of any errors.
• Maintaining KPI (Key Performance Indicators) of the team
• Creation of item codes in the manufacturing executive system (MES) for scanning & assembly purposes.
• Managing item codes in the MES system based on the project.
• Creation of exception if any deviation in the standard operating procedures.
• After SOP maintaining the project with the engineering changes.
• Responsible for the Engineering Change management,
• Suggesting the changes in BOM by considering the cost (Cost reduction changes if any).
• Creating engineering change documents and presenting to the respective departments for the change implementations.
• Regular followups with the suppliers for the development status and implementation schedules for the engineering change parts.
• Supporting the assembly line for the emergency situations
• Managing other activities like Downtime management and HPM (Hours per Module).

• Roles & Responsibilities at Caterpillar (Client Location) are:
• Working as a Variant Configuration analyst for Athens Facility my roles and responsibilities are.
• Creation of PSM (Product Specification Module) from the base inputs for the models.
• Writing Constraints and Procedures for the respective Models based on the market regions and compatibility of the product in production client.
• Updating pre & selection conditions for the BOM.
• Updating the engineering changes for the models based on the Change Master.
• Creating material variants for building and construction products (Athens & Zeebrugge Facility).
• Resolving IDOX issues from orders team.

• Roles & Responsibilities at Caterpillar India Private Limited (Thiruvallur Plant, Tamil Nadu) are
• Working as an Associate Manufacturing engineer my roles and responsibilities are.
• Conversion and creation of EBOM to MBOM.
• Conversion and creation of MBOM to VBOM.
• Worked on creation and Standard Work Elements Sheets (SWES) for various Engines and models that are being manufactured in assembly line.
• Creating Visual Aids to help the assembler to understand the assembly process better.
• Created a standard work flow process for the front and rear axle and the suspension system for off high way trucks.
• Knowledge in understanding the drawings and the drawing instructions (Safety instructions) for the assembly.
• Created PFMEA, SFMEA, Control measurement documents for the models in the plant.
• Worked on Preparation of Quality control plans, Work Instructions.
• Assigning and suggesting torque to the threaded parts for all models in the plant.
• Successfully implemented two Medium Hydraulic Excavators and Off Highway Trucks in production line (Pilot & Production) without any failure and breakage of parts in the line.
• Worked on process validation for the NPI in the assembly line.
• Good in handling Teamcenter Vismockup 10.1 & 11.2.
• To review and analyze incoming Engineering changes using Engineering Change Management.
• Worked on fabrication department for the calculating Tact times and cycle times.
• Worked on line balancing project in fabrication department and in the assembly line.
• Having knowledge in line balancing techniques.
• Having good Knowledge in 5S and KAIZEN.

• Roles & Responsibilities at Axiscades are:
• Working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee for East Peoria Facility from offshore my roles and responsibilities are.
• Addressing to the Teamcenter Manufacturing related queries.
• To translate design information into the process steps and instructions to efficiently and effectively manufacture New Product Introduction (NPI).
• To create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that show assembly on the screen and as to create steps through the assembly process, the components to be inserted or assembled are shown along with text instructions and warnings for each step.
• Worked on for Aurora facility in VPP/A (Virtual Process Planning for Assembly – Teamcenter Manufacturing) using Engineering applications like HVC, Vismockup, Capp+, MCS, and Virtual Builds., Etc. (Above tools that as specifically using for the Caterpillar)
• Worked on Large & Medium Tractors Documentation for East Peoria (TTT) CATERPILLAR machines.
• Reviewing the Documentation sequence along with process partners for current running model and for NPI.
• Creating Visual Aids to help the assembler to understand the assembly process better.
• Worked on Torque audits for the respective models in East Peoria.
