Automation in My Previous Roles:
Unified Calculation Tool Development:
When I joined Topsoe, traditional Excel tools were still being used for equipment sizing in the refinery
sector. Recognizing the limitations, I developed the Unified Calculation Tool (UCT), which enabled
simultaneous sizing across various technologies and equipment. This advanced automation tool
reduced design cycle times, enhanced accuracy, and minimized errors, significantly improving overall
design efficiency.
Digital Transformation at UOP:
At UOP, One of my major projects was the exchanger automation initiative, where we developed expert systems to size
heat exchangers and air coolers efficiently, without relying on HTRI. Additionally, I utilized
Microsoft365; Power Apps framework to automate key work processes, improving operational efficiency
and ensuring transparent data management.
