- Order Processing & Logistics: I manage the entire order-to-dispatch cycle, which includes verifying customer orders, coordinating production and dispatch schedules with origin plants, confirming orders based on material availability, and monitoring shipments. This also involves handling logistics and documentation issues, tracking shipments, and finalizing Letters of Credit for imports and trading.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Working with Salesforce CRM for processing orders, requests, and complaints. Key activities include creating and coordinating customer orders, managing and closing complaints, updating customer call and visit records, and maintaining quarterly, half-yearly, and annual price lists, sending the commercial offers to the customers.
- Customer Handling: I serve as the primary point of contact for customer requests, complaints, and queries. I proactively update customers on shipment status, discuss upcoming orders, follow up on Purchase Orders, and provide prompt support throughout the purchasing process. I focus on improving efficiency by monitoring Complaint Turnaround Times (TATs), conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and archiving the company and individual performance and KPI's.
- Collaborative Teamwork & Stakeholder Management: I collaborate closely with internal teams (Logistics, Sales and global accounts team) and external global plants to ensure smooth order processing, dispatch, and payment collection. This includes closely coordinating with global key accounts and demand/planning teams.
- Supply Chain Activities: Involved in planning for raw material procurement, identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery. Key supply chain functions include demand and supply planning, effective inventory and warehousing management, and optimizing transportation management to reduce costs and delivery times with supply chain optimization.
- Sales & Logistics operations: Ensuring the timely quotes for the air and sea cargo for the exports and imports, closely working with the freight forwarders, liners and NVOCC'S for the FCL/LCL consignments with CIF/FOB/CPT/DDP/FCA terms. Actively coordinating the domestic and international sales with the end to end supply monitoring for the material to the B2B customers. Processing the purchase request and generating the purchase orders with necessary approvals.
