Two-Tier flaskapp Deployment

Role : DevOps Engineer

Tech Stack : Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (EC2, EKS).

• Led the deployment of a two-tier Flask-based Todo app with a MySQL backend, optimizing scalability for a large user base.
• Set up a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins for a Node.js Todo app on an EC2 instance, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
• Dockerized the Todo app, enhancing portability and reproducibility.
• Utilized Docker and Docker Compose for containerization, ensuring portability and version control via Dockerhub.
• Automated Kubernetes cluster setup with kubeadm, later transitioning to AWS EKS for enhanced fault tolerance.
• Deployed a multi-node cluster with a load balancer for efficient traffic distribution.

Project#2:

CIGNA is a reputed health insurance company that offers integrated health plans and services such as medical, dental,disability, life & accident related products and services.

Role : DevOps Engineer

Tech Stack : Github,Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Splunk, Terraform.

• Utilized Jira for and ServiceNow for ticket management, effectively prioritizing and resolving Non-Production and Production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
• Handled incidents related to the DevOps pipeline, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and impact on operations.
• Implemented a robust CI/CD pipeline using a combination of Github, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, and Grafana, enabling automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Managed and supported CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment processes across various environments.
