- Collaborated with Compliance Teams and various cross-functional departments to ensure strict adherence to legal regulations and requirements.
- Prepared, drafted, and submitted police complaints while liaising with multiple law enforcement authorities to secure favorable outcomes.
- Assumed the role of the sole litigation manager, effectively coordinating with external counsel to initiate and defend against numerous technical litigation matters.
- Conducted in-depth research to assess risk factors influencing business decisions and operations. Implemented proactive risk management strategies and provided advisory support on potential legal issues.
- Advised and educated cross-functional teams on various laws, including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), Data Protection and Privacy (DPDP) regulations, and related legislation. Attended meetings with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and evaluated and selected appropriate vendors to address KYC, sanctions screening, STR filing, data storage, and related requirements.
