Strategic HR Leadership
- Translate R&D business priorities into workforce and capability plans, partnering with leadership to optimise structure, skills and future readiness.
- Lead organisation design interventions, role clarity, manpower planning and redeployment decisions in alignment with productivity and cost objectives.
- Drive manpower budgeting for R&D, providing insights on workforce optimisation, skill gaps, redeployment solutions and headcount strategy.
Talent Acquisition, Capability & Succession
- Define hiring priorities for critical scientific and operations-facing R&D roles; collaborate with talent acquisition to design targeted sourcing strategies for technical and specialist positions.
- Ensure rigorous competency-based assessments, structured interviews and evaluation frameworks to strengthen quality of hires.
- Lead seamless onboarding, ensuring faster time-to-productivity through structured orientation and manager enablement.
- Co-own talent management and succession planning for key R&D roles, driving career development, readiness mapping and internal mobility.
Talent Development, Competency & PMS
- Lead competency mapping for scientific, managerial and technical roles to inform capability building and career architecture.
- Drive the Performance Management System for R&D, ensuring robust goal setting, mid-year reviews, calibration and data-driven development planning.
Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture Building
- Lead strategic employee connect programs, engagement frameworks, GPTW initiatives and diversity agenda to build a high-trust, inclusive workplace.
- Partner with senior management on employee communication, engagement action plans and leadership connects based on feedback and HR analytics.
- Design and deliver HR practices that enhance employee welfare, work-life quality and overall organisational climate within R&D.
HR Projects, Transformation & Digital
- Lead and support organisation-wide HR projects related to culture, digital HR, simplification, and R&D capability transformation.
- Standardise HR processes across the employee lifecycle and implement data-backed improvements for efficiency and employee experience.
HR Analytics & Governance
- Consolidate and analyse key HR KPIs, reports and dashboards for R&D to drive business decisions on attrition, productivity, skill readiness and engagement.
- Ensure adherence to Glenmark’s ethical standards, diversity goals and risk mitigation frameworks across HR operations.
