Worked on bringing in pilot project at SS&C to transfer the middle office and back office operations which entailed:

• Processing and managing FX, MTM and ICE queues and settlement of Forwards, FXO, IRS and CDS.
• Leading end-to-end processing of bonds and repos settlement including OMGEO/TRAX matching, market matching and settlement.
• Working with desk on re-bookings and resolving discrepancies to to facilitate settlement across products.
• Working on Cash, Trade and Position reconciliations for all products.
• Auditing and approving wires for transactions.
• Managing work allocation within team.
• Training the entire team on new tasks and holding refreshers as necessary.
• Training new joiners BAU.

• FOBO reconciliations for Chief Investment Officer.
• Reconciliations between Primus and OPICS.
• Reconciliations involving systems such as TFA, IMPACT and Data Warehouse.
• Reconciliations for collaterals booked between internal entities as well as external entities.
• Reconciliations against ledger systems like ACE.

• Managing a team of 12 analysts.
• Clearing of trades across all exchanges using GUI and Clear Vision.
• Daily submission of exchange reports on exchange portals for HKFE and SIMX exchanges.
• T+1 trade amendments on exchange and replicating the same in back office systems.
• The product scope varies with different funds majorly involving equities, futures, bonds, options, contract for differences, forwards etc.
• T+1 Trade, position and cash reconciling of exchange vs. back office system.
• T+1 break investigation and resolving the same on daily basis.
• Expiring the contracts across all exchanges in the back office systems and managing client communications.
• Evaluation and application of corporate actions done on exchange in the client statements.
• Reconciliation of manual brokerage charged on trades on monthly basis and liaising with various brokers for the same.
• Resolving the breaks on eREC tool on T+2 basis and initiating permanent foxes for the same.
• Sending out MIS for various clearing and reconciliation processes.
• Preparing monthly business reports for all processes and presenting the same to clients.
