As a dedicated Agricultural Economist with a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and a rich background in gender studies, food and nutrition studies,impact evaluations, climate change, and migration studies within agri-food systems, I bring a wealth of expertise and insight to the field. Through extensive research experience, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the intricate interplay between agriculture, gender dynamics, food security, and societal influences. Proficient in research protocol development, data collection methodologies including KOBO and ODK, and advanced data analysis using Python, R, STATA, and Tableau, I am equipped to tackle complex challenges head-on. With the experience of writing high-quality research papers, project reports and blogs, I am committed to driving evidence-based policies that address the multifaceted issues confronting the agricultural sector, particularly in gender dynamics within agri-food systems.

• Participated and Presented a paper on "Male outmigration and intra-household feminization of agriculture labor : Evidence from rice-based system of Bihar, India" at 6th International Rice Congress 2023 which held on 16-19th October, 2023 in Manilla, Philippines.
• Participated and part of organizing many events and panels in the 2023 annual CGIAR gender research conference which took place in New Delhi, India, on October 9-12, 2023.
• Participated and been part of a panel discussion in the Campbell South Asia's "What Works South Asia" conference in New Delhi, India, with a focus on evidence-based strategies to enhance development in South Asia on 28-30 November 2023, New Delhi, India.
• Participated and received training on Science Communication from 22 to 24 November, 2023 in Hyderabad which was organized by IRRI.
• Participated and presented poster in IVth International conference on Innovative & current advances in agriculture & allied sciences held on 12-14 June 2022 at Himachal Pradesh university, Summer hill. Shimla.
• Got an opportunity to participate and present paper entitled "Are Farmer's producer organizations (FPO), a feasible solution for improving ragi production and marketing? A case study from Karnataka" in the International Conference on Harnessing the Potential of Finger Millet for Achieving Food and Nutritional Security: Challenges and Prospects (ICFM-2022) during January 19 - 22, 2022 at Zonal Agricultural Research Station, Mandya, UASB, Karnataka, India.
• Participated and presented the poster entitled "Why do farm households migrate? Evidence from rural-urban interface of Bengaluru" in Post graduate science week 2021 conducted by UAS Bangalore during 27-30 September, 2021.
• Participated and presented paper entitled "Climate change adaptation strategies by paddy growing farmers: A case study in Tungabhadra command area of Karnataka, India" in the Regional Seminar on "Climate extremes, economic loss and farmer resilience" (On line) organized by the Department of Agricultural Economics, Kerala Agricultural University and the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics, Mumbai during 11th - 12th November, 2021.
• Successfully completed the International Virtual Summer school-2020 on "Tackling Climate change through Global learning" organized jointly by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), Switzerland, UAS Bangalore, India and Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), Brazil from 20th April to 31st July, 2020.
• Completed post graduate diploma in Rural development (Distance Education) from Annamalai University in 2020 securing first class grades.
