Wells Fargo Prime Services

Wells Fargo prime services is a bundled package of services offered to investors needing the ability to manage their day to day funding requirements, borrow securities, and act as an enabler in the investment process. Prime brokerage is a special group of services that many brokerages given to specific clients. The services provided under prime brokering are securities lending, leverage trade executions, and cash management among other things. Prime brokerage services are provided by most of the large brokers such as Goldman Sachs, Paine Webber and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

• Wells Fargo has acquired Merlin to provide Prime Brokerage, Using ITRS tool, setup the Alert configuration for Log monitoring, DB monitoring, File monitoring. EOD and SOD Batch monitoring for more than 20+ applications.
• Monitor server performance, process, and service via ITRS Geneos and Autosys, to identify & prevent functional and technical problems & issues.
• Take the ownership of the application issues.
• Tracking and Reporting of failures, incidents, and service requests.
• Manage, maintain applications to ensure production system effectiveness and successfully delivering all the reports to internal user and external clients.
• Perform preliminary diagnostic on the Incidents to determine the initial impact and notifying all the impacted systems and clients, working with respective team in MIM and working on resolving the issue and delivering the downstream deliverables within the SLA.
• Documenting all the Problems and Incidents and the actions taken to resolve them.
• Creating the TOIL items for Problems and following up with dev team for the JIRA and tracking it till the closure.
• Actively participated in BCP activities.
• Automated the Autosys virtual machine switch using SSP portal.
• Automated the DB switch using SSP portal. Actively worked on E2E patching and certificate migration.

• The project “Comcast BSD L2 Ops” provides the middleware support for Comcast Communication.
• The work includes implementation of changes in Production and non-Production environments and investigating production middleware issues, etc.,
• Performing daily and routine checks for the applications and Maintaining WebLogic application servers
• Deployment of various applications like JAR, WAR and EAR in domain and clustered environments of WebLogic server by using admin console and the IBM UrbanCode Deploy Tool.
• Interacting with Development and Onsite team to resolve the issues.
• Frequently participated during production releases and coordinating with the testing team for their validation.
• Involved in attending production outage calls and production issue calls of high severity.
