  • Responsible for the product development and pre-production activities for all products in the Tirupur region.
  • Samples Review: Proto Sample, 1st Fit Sample, Jump Size Set Sample, Pre-Production Sample, Wearer Trail, and Top of Production Sample.
  • Design Pack Review: Reviewing the design pack from the client to understand the design requirements and to ensure the product meets all safety and testing requirements.
  • Spec Creation: After reviewing the technical pack, an inspiration image spec will be created from the block library according to style. If unsure about the spec measurements, I will request a rough fit from the factory.
  • New Shape: When a new shape comes, understand the requirement, and work with the Client Designer, Buyer, and Tech to get the correct shape in the product.
  • Line Review Meeting / Risk Assessment: Style-level download meeting to the factory with all teams after receiving final comments from the client.
  • Product risk assessment, high-risk style, and bulk feasibility will be discussed, and the same will be followed before it goes to the bulk stage.
  • Test Report Disposition: The GPT test report will be analyzed with the product and tested specimens for commercial approval or retest.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) update by adding actual measurements, fitting images, comments, and uploading soft copy patterns.
  • Pattern / Clo fit approval: Pattern approval based on superimposed and pattern overlay.
  • Virtual Clo Fit approval on the image before sending it to the client.
  • PRE-PRODUCTION MEETING: Attending the PPM for high-risk styles to ensure the product meets all requirements in bulk garments.

  • Responsible for all products of my department's development to bulk approval in terms of fit, construction, and safety (Development sample, first fit, Red Seal, Green Seal, and Gold Seal).
  • Product mapping: once the tech pack is loaded, allocate the styles to the factory, along with PD, to choose the right factory for the right product.
  • Design pack downloading to the factory, the risk of the product will be identified, recorded, and monitored from development.
  • Attending the buyer and designer trip to understand their requirements for construction, shape, and to fulfill their requirements for the development sample.
  • After the sign-off meeting, comments will be downloaded to the factory to ensure the comments are followed in further samples.
  • Responsible for sealer samples approval (Red seal, Green seal, and Gold seal).
  • Test Report Disposition: Responsible for FPT and GPT test reports for all styles; all reports were reviewed with the product and tested specimens to ensure all tests were carried out.
  • Also, commercial approval will be given based on the product.
  • Country legal regulation: Responsible for products meets all requirements of Russia and China testing/compliance requirements.
  • Periodical factory visits are necessary to ensure that products meet the requirements in bulk.
