• Responsible for creating a Production-Like Environment for testing the mainframe applications.
• Provide support to the build team in identifying the issues in the newly built applications in the test environment by collaborating with the different application teams and providing solutions to the issues faced by the Build teams.
• Introduced Process changes to increase efficiency by automating manual processes using REXX, JCL, Cobol based tools. Have proposed and automated many processes which helped in application maintenance and efficiency improvement.
• Optimized environment usage which provide MIPS saving to the customer and lead to saving of worth 1 million pounds annually.
• Provided L2 support for batch and providing permanent fixes for the issues faces by doing Root Cause Analysis of the issues.

• Acted as L2 team member in a parallel production environment which is used for deploying & testing the new builds.
• Prepared tools based on REXX/JCL to carry out Prep analysis, issue identification and to carry out predictive analysis of error being generated in associated CICS regions.
• Participated in daily defect meetings with the Project Managers and Development Team to identify gaps and suggest relevant solutions in term of environment usage and defect resolution.
• Managed L1 team comprising of 10 members

• Provided L2 support within the test environment for a number of applications.
• Carried out testing on the behalf of application owners by creating scripts and jobs.
• Performed abend analysis and provided resolution of issues during batch execution.
• Carried out defect analysis of issues that occured during testing within the test environment.
