• Build and lead ESG function for organization to meet strategic objectives of business.
  • Act as trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, partnering in strategic planning, annual planning, and organizational-level operations directly reporting to CEO.
  • Keeping ESG profile of the organization up to date for reference to the existing and potential stakeholders.
  • Ensuring implementation of world class ESG practices across all operational sites to meet qualifying criteria of global customers for the supply of solar modules.
  • Ensuring timely submission of annual reports to UNFCCC on Climate Neutral Now Initiatives, completion of periodic assessment of global rating agency Eco Vadis to remain in the list of qualified suppliers of solar modules globally.

• Developed Environmental and Social Management System compliant with world class standards including IFC performance standards / ADB reference framework and world bank group general EHS guidelines for conducting ESIA /ESDD and EHS governance systems of Solar / Wind /Transmission / Hydro / BESS projects for funding and refinancing.
  • Digitized compliance tracking and KPI reporting system in view of diversified high-risk project execution as well as O&M operational sites of more than 150 numbers. Developed and implemented governance system for effective tracking and review of ESG performance involving business leaders across all sites.
  • Keeping ESG / EHS management systems up to date by engaging with DSS (DuPont Sustainable Solutions), British Safety Council, ERM, EPMC, TUV, etc. to get external perspective.
  • Managed team performance through appraisals, mentoring, and career development plans for more than 45 qualified ESG and EHS professionals to keep them engaged and motivated to achieve business goals with respect to global ESG standards and remain compliant to international lenders and our internal high standard benchmarks.

• SPOC for compilation of emission (scope 1, 2 & 3) and EHS data for disclosure to internal and external stakeholders.
• Leading initiatives related to energy efficiency, water conservation and switching to renewable energy sources. Installation of 500 KW captive solar power plant in Bawal Plant and wheeling of power (open access) for 1MW from wind mill in Tamilnadu, reuse of treated water were the key initiatives.
• Coordinator for the group certification project for Integrated Management system. Supported Denmark team for preparing and implementing IMS by visiting sites in Denmark.
• Achieved 1000 LTI Free Days for all Manufacturing Units in India and commendations from global Head Quarter. The case study was shared in other regions as best practices for implementation across the group.

• Developed and implemented systems to recycle the wastes generated from the plant, achieved the target of zero landfill and zero incineration.
• Responsible for managing and reporting of Sustainability KPI’s for the Central region of Mondelez India operations in line with GRI G4 guidelines through Enablon.
• Leading initiatives for reuse of chocolate waste as animal feed, packaging waste as fuel to boilers in cement plants, and recycling of tertiary treated water to boiler for steam generation and filtrate to utilities for domestic use and gardening as appropriate.
• Identified two high priority standards for the central region and implemented (LOTOTO and 360-degree Machine Guarding).
• Safe execution of Expansion Project -Samriddhi at Malanpur Site involving installation and commissioning of new product lines for Perk, Five Star and related utilities expansion such as boiler, Effluent treatment plant and tertiary treatment systems (RO and MEE) for water recycling.

• Responsible for monthly / annual reporting of sustainability metrics for annual disclosure and sustainability report in accordance with GRI G4 guidelines.
• Single Point of Contact for DuPont – Tata Motors partnership project in Lucknow Plant. Had the opportunity to manage the entire engagement cycle starting from Safety Perception Survey until implementation of standards and monitoring of the same. Learned and implemented Safety Observation System, Incident Investigation System, Contractor Safety Management System etc.
• Trained facilitator for modules such as Safety Management Fundamentals, Incident investigation and Leading Safety Efforts for line Managers. Underwent rigorous certification programs from DuPont and Dale Carnegie for getting certified as ready to facilitate.
• Lead the EHS function for safe execution of Green Field Project (Eastern Complex) of Tata Motors Lucknow. (315 Acres project with state-of-the-art Paint Shop, BIW, Assembly lines, Propane storage Vessels, Main Receiving Station (Power), ETP/STP, 500-meter-long Flyover and Roads.

• Implemented systems related to waste disposal and energy efficiency
• Implemented EHS Management systems in line with global requirement for all Heinz affiliates worldwide in Aligarh and Bangalore factory resulting in improvement of score from 65 to 80%.
• Implemented Systems related to emergency preparedness and firefighting including upkeep of fire extinguishers and training of fire responders and conducting periodic drills.
• Safe execution of co-generation plant for power as well as steam generation for plant operations

• Selected through Campus Interview to work with commissioning engineers’ team from Davy Mckey UK for state of the art 4- Hi Cold Rolling Mill, finishing lines and annealing furnaces. Implemented Integrated Management System, Member of WCM (World Class Manufacturing) Club for the organization.
