Hands on experience on Team center, NX, Catia V5 & AutoCAD.
Working on different design & manufacturing concepts like VAVE for cost saving, DFA/DFS for part assembly or failure analysis & design related changes.
Working on Project: Pulsar & KTM Engines.
Major Responsibility:
Packaging of conceptual & final design of engine & its auxiliary systems.
Preparation of initial & final layout in NX/AutoCAD & updating it till SOP.
Preparation & releases of various engines BOM through TeamCenter.
Resolve various DFA, DFS & DFM issues. Ensure activities have to be done as per PM schedule.
Job profile:
· Lay-outing & designing of Engine.
· Ensure concept meet overall packaging, manufacturing, assembly, servicing & cost requirement.
· Making Different Proposal as per design Constraints & Aesthetic consideration of parts. In co-ordination with styling department.
· Lead for VAVE activities & its implementation for Pulsar engines.
· Involvement in Engine & Vehicle built Events like Pre-Pilot, Pilot & SOP.
· Basic Design calculations of various Engine parts & its stack up.
· Resolution of Plant, Validation & Field Concerns.
· Engineering Support to DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFS & other simulation activities co-ordination with Plant, CD, ME & TE departments for same.
· Create production drawing with GD&T as applicable & suitable for manufacturing & Assembly.
· Homologation drawing preparation.
· Engine parts packaging check from assembly & servicing point of view.
· Preparation of BOMs.
· Responsible for Production release, baseline release of various engine parts & engine assemblies through TCE.
· Checking Drawing & model for each component before release.
· Involvement in various Engine/Vehicle testing & tuning activities from Engine design side.
· Involvement in various Engine testing fixtures & tools design & tuning activities from Engine design side.
Low cost automation projects for the ease of different Vehicle Assembly lines.
