· Oversee collections for Buckets and NPA in the Maharashtra area, managing a team of 6 BRMs
· Handling product Personal Loan, Unsecured Business Loan, Used Car Loan, Credit Card,
· Recruit, train, and manage collection officers, field staff, and agency partners. Allocate targets and monitor daily/weekly/monthly performance. Motivate and guide the team to ensure high productivity and morale.
· Oversee and manage the collections of overdue loans, implement effective collection strategies for soft, hard, and legal buckets (BKT 0–3+) Ensure timely follow-up and field visits for recovery.
· Ensure monthly and quarterly recovery targets are met. Improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquencies and NPAs. Regularly track and report portfolio performance to the higher management.
· Coordinate with field executives for tracing absconding/default customers. Use available resources, databases, and local intelligence to locate customers. Liaise with local contacts to gather updates on defaulters' whereabouts.
· Engage with high-value or difficult customers personally to resolve disputes or negotiate settlements. Handle customer escalations and complaints related to recovery practices. Ensure OTS and payment restructuring is handled as per policy.
· Ensure all collections are conducted within RBI guidelines and organizational code of conduct. Coordinate with legal department for issuance of legal notices, filing of Section 138, SARFAESI, Lok Adalat, etc. Maintain documentation and audit readiness at all times.
· Maintain accurate records of collections, field visits, customer promises, and broken PTPs Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to zonal/regional managers.
· Appoint and manage collection agencies/vendors in assigned area. Audit agency performance regularly and ensure they follow ethical recovery practices.
· Identify frauds, false commitments, or manipulations during collections. Flag risky accounts and suggest write-offs or legal proceedings as per policy.
