Lead a team of 8 engineers in Design, Implement, Migrate & Operations of VMware & Storage ( Cloud Storage, NetApp-CVO, BlueXP & Dell PowerScale ) and Backup ( Google Cloud Backup & DR service ) in Google Cloud and On-prem environments.

Key Projects:

• Reduced the Cloud Storage bills by 33% in applying appropriate Life cycle management policies to Buckets.
• Designed & Implemented Google Cloud Backup & DR service and successfully migrated the workloads (VMware/Compute VM & Database) from traditional Backups.
• Saved 25% in GCP bill for GCVE & NetApp-CVO by right sizing & tier the cold data to Object Storage.
• Developed customized billing Dashboards using BigQuery & Looker to report chargeback to business users.

Project 2: Google

Role : Solution Architect – Cloud

Perform Design & Implementation of Google Cloud Services as part of Google PSO ( Professional Services Organization ) as Partner.

• Design, Deployment & Operational of Google Cloud Backup & DR service (formerly Actifio GO ).
• Successfully demonstrated recovery of workloads (VMs and Databases) in a mock DR.
• Collaborated with customer to integrate GCBDR into their Cyber Security strategy with Air Gapped Vault solution.
• Migrated workloads from on-prem to Google cloud with minimal downtime.

Professional Contribution:

• Active Member of elite Architecture Board in Persistent Systems, contributing and collaborating on broad IT Architectural discussions.
• Played key role in making architectural decisions with Product Owners in developing Cyber Security solution PiCR ( SaaS Cyber Recovery product from Persistent) which is based on Google Cloud backup & DR.

Role: Provide Technical Design, Implementation & Migration services for customers on Dell EMC & VMWare products - HCI, Storage, Migration & Replication .

• Worked closely with Sales, Project Manager, Account Manager, Partner and Customers to ensure a seamless delivery of solutions end-to-end.
• Created HLD, LLD for entire datacenter solution which components like Cloud Solution, OS, DB, Server, Network, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, replication etc
• Participate & contribute in discussions on Refining Solutions, Cost Optimization, Competitive Analysis, and Solution on a page (SOAP) etc.
• Created High Level Design for customer's existing environment and develop a consolidated architecture roadmap by defining requirements, estimate sizing and creating high level functional build specifications/strategies.
• Architecture Lead and Technical Design Authority for overall solution design and custodian of implementation for the entire duration of the project delivery.

• Successfully lead the migration of over 900 ESXi clusters to Hyper Converged Infrastructure ( VxRail ) using RP4VM
• Designed and deployed a highly scalable Private Cloud VCF ( VMWare Cloud Foundation ) cluster.
• Executed a successful POC on VMware Cloud on AWS solution with DR setup on AWS.
• Successfully lead Host based migration project using native LVM and Veritas Volume Manager , migrating over 600 hosts with overall 2 PB of data.
• Developed customized and hardened BIN file to VMAX arrays for Banking and Financial customers.
• Seamless data migration of core telecom billing applications to VMAX3 using Open Replicator.
• Developed and Implemented robust DR environment using cascaded SRDF on VMAX arrays.

• Key member of a team which provides 24/7 support for Server, Storage & Backup based systems & resources in Goldman Sachs.

• Key member of team which provides 24/7 support for Windows based systems & resources in Infosys, managing over 20 servers and 4000 desktops.
