Track production progress, identify and resolve procuction issues, and adiust the production schedule based on changes in demand or production constraints.
  • Identify and map the various steps involved in the production process and Use tools such as Kaizen, PDCA, and 5S to implement continuous improvement in the production process.
  • Identify potential errors in the production process and implementing error-proofing solutions to prevent them from occurring. Dual Sensor strategy and Low cost vision sensor for manual application were installed

  • Designed, implemented and monitored a Design for Manufacturing (DFM) process to improve the BIW manufacturing cycle time by 20% and reduce BIW Chronic Quality issues by 10%.

  • Reviewed and proposed equipment changes to ensure the required quality by Developing a multi layer Poke.

  • Planned, organized and executed the installation of new equipment with a team of 10 Production Technicians and 10 Overseas technicians, during two weeks of major plant shutdown, ensuring zero safety violations and deviation from the planned schedule and budget.
  • Perform DFMEA for assembly and subassembly of BIW components in collaboration with R&D and New Car Quality Development Team.
  • Part of CFT (Body Quality, CBU Front End Quality) to analyse, understand the root cause analysis for the problem , updated the metrics for the process to track the defect level and Implement a plan and monitor its effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Development/Vendor Quality teams for the quick stabilisation of BIW enditems quality in the Vendor end.
  • Prepared and documented stage-wise gate reports for the new model implementation (from concept to production) by measuring and tracking progress against the body structure, trim and chassis building instructions as well as the tooling and equipment/facility requirements of the new model.
