• As a member of testing team, I am responsible for ensuring the product quality by Improving scalability, reliability, and performance of Oracle Database Server feature by designing, developing, and conducting functional, stress testing and discovering critical defects in Oracle DB
• Work experience on various large scale DB architectures like RAC, non-RAC, multitenant and autonomous databases deployed on both cloud as well as on-premise customer platform
• Responsible for handling multiple feature-based projects in the fields of Query Optimization, SQL Execution, Auto Features and Vector DB for the upcoming versions of Oracle RDBMS software
• Experience in working with LINUX virtualized servers and implementing automated stress models using Shell Scripting, Perl, XML, and Python
• Implementing CI/CD pipeline for testing ensuring Integration and development by putting continuous testing efforts to develop new test cases and integrate it with the automated testing models using project management tools like Confluence and Jira

Projects: Worked on the functional, stress, cloud, and cross functional testing of the following features: Vector DB: Currently working on Project SQL optimiser support for AI vector search

• This project involves the use of vector indexes which changes the index access path and joins and therefore, changes the execution plan of the query using cost-based query optimisation
• Optimisation and performance: After gaining expertise in the area of optimisation, this is an ongoing project with the aim to assure product quality by ensuring the performance of the query
• It requires a continuous effort to check query regressions/improvements, wrong results and crashes using traces and various query analysis reports
• Autonomous features: This project introduces Autonomous tasks like Auto indexing, Auto partitioning, Auto compression, Auto statistics and Auto In-memory in ExaCC oracle DB and eventually lets the customer to use these features without any manual interventions
• DB Capture & Replay: This is on ongoing project which needs continuous testing efforts to replay the workload on a test system which was captures on the production system to test the effects of a system change without affecting the production system.

• Leveraged my thorough knowledge of Data warehousing concepts and Relational databases by filing around 200+ bugs in numerous areas of Oracle RDBMS, some of which significantly impacted product releases

Projects: Worked on the functional, stress, cloud, and cross functional testing of the following features: SQL support for Boolean Datatype: This project introduced a new datatype: Boolean to Oracle RDMS in Oracle 23c

• I single-handedly worked on this project to ensure its support with all RDBM objects, PL-SQL and cross functional features and reported numerous bugs/issues impacting the performance of the feature in the DB
• SQL support for Table Value Constructor: As Most of the popular databases already support this feature, this project introduces a new VALUES clause in Oracle 23c which helps to write ad hoc SQL with more readable and shorter text compared to current work arounds like union all.

• Leveraged my thorough knowledge of Data warehousing concepts and Relational databases by filing around 200+ bugs in numerous areas of Oracle RDBMS, some of which significantly impacted product releases
• Implementation of projects in Python using popular libraries like pandas, scikit-learn and flask.

• Implementation of a full stack project to monitor and manage work of the employees using different interfaces for admin and employees

• Internal project implementation in SAP ECC6.0 using ABAP programming and SAP HANA as the database server
