- Responsibility carried out: As project manager leading the design as well site team for carrying out residual design & engineering of Aviation Gasoline process plant for PIDs, PFD, equipment datasheet such as alkylate splitter distillation column, Reboiler, condensate pot , coolers & heat exchangers, piping etc. Equipment layout preparation, Hazardous area classification layout, HAZOP study , Procurement activities including approval of Vendor drawings/document , timely supply of equipment , Project management services , third party inspection services etc. Managing Site team as project Manager , review of project progress with contractor and client on continuous basis, project monitoring and expedition, debottlenecking project issues technically as well administratively etc.

c. Providing consultancy services for the design and detailed engineering of the downstream plant, including the Sulfuric Acid plant, Gas Cleaning plant, and Tail Gas Treatment plant, for Roaster-6 in the Zinc expansion project at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Debari, Rajasthan.

Scope of work: Consultancy services for Design, Detailed Engineering, and the green field expansion project of the Zinc smelter project including downstream off-gas based 950 TPD Sulfuric acid plant, Gas cleaning Plant & Tail gas cleaning plant including allied facilities.

Responsibilities Undertaken:

Engaged as a pivotal team member and technical coordinator for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) bid preparation, my responsibilities encompass a wide array of crucial tasks. This includes overseeing the techno-commercial evaluation, obtaining approvals for vendor drawings and documents, supervising designers on-site, coordinating project management services, managing inspections, preparing project progress reports, conducting periodic progress review meetings, devising catch-up plans, troubleshooting site execution issues, and handling resource management at the site, among other duties.

d. Modernization of IOCL Lube Blending Plant, Paharpur, Kolkata:

Project duration: completed.

Scope of work: Offering consultancy services for the design and detailed engineering of a comprehensive modernization project for the Lube Blending plant, aimed at increasing its capacity to 120 lakh KLPA

Tasks performed:

• Acted as the Overall Project Coordinator and Technologist, leading the finalization of the process licenser package with IOCL and securing the technology supplier agreement with M/s DMC USA for lube blending technology and automation systems.

• Led the development of comprehensive plant layout, equipment design, and detailed engineering for pipeline systems, tank farm management, tankages, and integration of existing with new facilities. Successfully finalized tender packages spanning Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Utility domains.

• Created item rate tender documents and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), conducted thorough bid evaluations, and facilitated seamless order placements.

• Produced detailed engineering drawings encompassing piping drawings, isometric drawings, as well as assignment drawings for the preparation of construction drawings civil and structural drawings.

• Offered comprehensive project management consultancy services, which entailed strategizing resource deployment at the site in alignment with project needs. Managed site supervision work, conducted regular review meetings, and prepared detailed monthly progress reports. Engaged in periodic client meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives. e. Providing Consultancy services for design and detailed engineering for the Solvent Extraction plant project for HWB.

Responsibilities carried out:

• Led the technical team as the design engineer to conduct Residual Design & Detailed Engineering of the complete solvent extraction plant, building upon the basic engineering provided by HWB.

• Prepared a range of essential basic & detailed engineering documents including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), equipment lists, load lists, overall plant layout, equipment disposition layout, technical specifications, datasheets, and both 3D and 2D piping drawings, as well as isometric drawings.

• Conducted periodic review meetings with the client to assess project progress, analyze any shortcomings, and develop catch-up plans as required.

• Played a pivotal role in the preparation of tender documents to facilitate the project's procurement process.

g. Design engineering consultancy of BPCL Oil terminal, Irrumpanam, Kochi.

Scope of work: Design, Detailed Engineering of the expansion project of the Oil terminal including integration piping & new pump house facilities with existing one, 5 bays Tank truck loading station, Wagon loading facilities, pipe manifolds for transfer and loading facilities.

Responsibilities carried out:

• Independently handled the design engineering consultancy work for the complete project. Involved in the preparation of plant layout, piping drawings, technical specification and datasheet and finalization of composite tender packages pertain to Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Utility etc.

h. Design & Detailed engineering of Cross country pipelines, Pig launcher /receiver for OCS Iraq.

Scope of work: Design, Detailed Engineering of the expansion project of the cross-country pipeline of 10 km for transferring crude oil from the oil well

Responsibilities carried out:

• Prepared layouts for pig launcher and receiver, pipeline arrangement, and LSTK tender documents, ensuring comprehensive coverage of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Utility aspects. Finalized LSTK tender packages through meticulous detailing and coordination across all relevant domains.
This involved meticulously designing the layout for pig launcher and receiver systems, as well as organizing the pipeline arrangement to optimize efficiency and functionality. Additionally, I spearheaded the preparation of LSTK tender documents, ensuring all necessary details and specifications were included. This included collaborating with various departments to ensure comprehensive coverage across Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Utility aspects, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.

• I oversaw the production of detailed engineering drawings to provide a clear blueprint for project implementation. This included creating precise piping drawings to guide the installation of pipelines, generating isometric drawings to visualize the three-dimensional aspects of the project, and developing Civil and Structural drawings to ensure the structural integrity of the installations. These drawings served as vital reference materials for contractors and construction teams, facilitating smooth and efficient project execution.

i. MB Lal implementation for Petro net MHBL, Devangunthi, Bangalore

Scope of work: Design, Detailed Engineering for the implementation of MB Lal recommendation in Oil receiving station of Petronet MHBL , Devangunthi, Karnataka.

Responsibilities carried out:

• Engaged in detailed analysis and planning to enhance the effectiveness of the fire hydrant system, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This involved assessing the existing infrastructure, proposing modifications to optimize performance and reliability, and overseeing the implementation of these enhancements. Furthermore, contributed to the installation and integration of hydrocarbon detectors to enhance early detection capabilities. Calculated and modified dyke walls to bolster containment measures, mitigating potential risks associated with hazardous materials. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, ensured alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Led the development of comprehensive tender documents, meticulously detailing project requirements, specifications, and contractual terms. Produced precise piping drawings to guide the installation of piping systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in construction activities. Compiled detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to facilitate cost estimation and procurement processes. The scope involves finalization of plat layout, approval of LSTK deliverables, preparion of billing schedule , bill certification , project management services, preparion of project progress report, periodic client meeting and apprasing project progress , catch up plans

 Independently managed the daily operations and maintenance of the 2x1000TPD Sulfuric acid plant and associated storage facilities.
