• Responsible for customer complaints, analysis corrective actions. Maintained customer complaint log sheet, conducting fortnightly customer complaint meeting with related dept.
• Knowledge in Sheet metal Fabrication like Punching, bending, Laser cutting process, Machining of material, Powder Coating, Surface treatment processes.
• Conduct Supplier monthly planned Audits to ensure the Product and safety Quality level is maintained according to organization guidelines. Ensure corrective & preventive actions of gaps identified in audits implementation of horizontal deployment.
• Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance
• Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards. Assist with first off sample approvals.
• Review/execute Supplier NCRs closure. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
• Responsible for analyzing monthly rejections/reworks in the process and maintaining CAPA/NCR from supplier to reduce rejection rate.
• Yearly Supplier Audit Plan Releases, According to that monthly audit conducted at Vendor end.
• Initiate implement continual improvement projects for SQA
• Responsible for highlighting the ECR (Engineering Change Request) as per the Customer requirement, Customer complaint and under the cost reduction projects.
• Works with engineering to assess and address product issues, to conduct experiments for process optimization and/or improvement.
• Manage and coordinate customer PPM (Parts per Million), supplier PPM, supplier problem solving on time, cost recovery and supplier warranty indicators.
• Presentation of Supplier, Inward Quality and Improvements Summary reports and status present to Top management on monthly basis.
• Reduction of Inspection Time and Delays, with the help of implementation of Green and Red Channel of material.
• Responsible for Departmental KPI and Goals.
• Support for Calibration and Inward Inspection activities
• Problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally, and to think with a medium term and long term perspective
• Working in the culture of 5S quality tools.
• Ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards by frequent process audits and Spot-checks
• Having 5 years of experience in In-Process Inspection as well, Maintained FPY (First Pass Yield). Sharing monthly data to team for to minimizing the In-process rejection rate and improving the systems control. OPL and Quality Alert giving on shopfloor team if required.
• Allocate inspection work to team members, Manage and guide team members, Highlight internal quality issue and suggest improvement.
• Conduct Layout Inspection activity.
• Checking Gauges, Jigs, Fixture and Templates at supplier end for fulfilling the requirements of tolerances mentioned on drawing
• Adding of new Measuring and Testing Instruments in to the systems for to bracing the Quality system.
• Designing, developing & imparting training to workers on product and other technical aspects of product.
• Establishing work environment to meet quality standards like ISO 9000/14000 and prepare documentation for external audits ISO 9001-2015, EMS 14001, OHSAS 45001, SOPs.
• Responsible for handling Customer inspection or Third-party inspections.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning organization's policies that adhered to local and state and environmental, health and safety regulations
• Ensure conformance of QMS, EMS OHSAS systems on the shop floor.
• To train new persons in QA dept. in terms of quality, inspection procedures critical parameters
• Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Kaizen In the system.
• Undertake special projects as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
• People Management - Support technicians and engineers, Train people within own work group
