Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.

2. Create 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications.

3. Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations (stress, thermal).

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality).

5. Ensure design compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

6. Develop and maintain design documentation and databases.

7. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.

Specific tasks:

1. Conceptual design and development.

2. Detail design and drafting.

3. Prototype development and testing.

4. Design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly.

5. Mechanical analysis and simulation.

6. Materials selection and specification.

7. Tolerance analysis and stack-up calculations.

8. Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

9. Design optimization for cost, weight, and performance.

10. Documentation and revision control.

11. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors.

12. Support manufacturing and production teams.

13. Conduct site visits and inspections.

14. Develop and maintain technical documentation

15. Participate in project planning and scheduling.

• Reviewed drawings and designs for ease of manufacturing process.
• Coordinated with other departments on tasks related to engineering projects.
• Participated in meetings with clients to discuss project requirements and timelines.
• Maintained detailed records of all projects, including specifications, costs, materials used.
• Work in various NPD projects in forging and machining process.
