The DHL Trade Automation Service (TAS) Portal provides users with essential trade-related tools and information, such as HS codes classifier, landed cost calculator, and customs compliance requirements for the products they import or export.

Our objective is to redesign the TAS experience, envision new and enhanced features, and eventually implement the new TAS 2.0 as part of the MyDHL+ Platform Tenant. This project will be delivered in two phases, with Phase 1 focusing on Research, Discovery, and Experience Design.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Create detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Design and execute test scenarios that cover various aspects of the software, including positive and negative testing.

Identify, document, and prioritize defects or issues found during testing.

Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.

• Maintain and update automated test scripts.

• Review pull requests raised by the team.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to understand the application and its features.

Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on testing progress, and discuss any issues or challenges.

• Identify and assess potential risks related to the software's quality and functionality.

Provide feedback on the testing process, and suggest improvements.

Provide guidance and training to junior testers, or team members.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on testing progress and issues.

The Healthy Homes Program (HHP) is responsible for the agency’s activities for the lead prevention program, which identifies cases for children under 18 years of age, in addition to pregnant women.

HHP is also responsible for providing environmental services for individuals with asthma, living with pests or mold in their homes.

HHP also responds to complaints from the public about peeling paint and/or unsafe construction that is generating dust hazards in residential buildings.

The program educates parents, guardians, owners, and managing agents of residential buildings, and contractors about program requirements and best practices to prevent exposure to environmental hazards.

Responsibilities

• Follows the Agile process with a sprint duration of 2 weeks, and has a production release for every 4 sprints.
• Estimating the requirements, user stories, and working closely with developers by developing the tests and framework.
• Testing is comprised of database testing, continuous integration and deployment, integration, and E2E testing.
• Worked with multiple teams of sizes 5 to 7 people, and was involved in discussions with the program on requirement analysis, estimation of testing efforts, test case reviews, deployments across environments, and test execution sign-off for production releases.
• Setting up the test environment.
• Designing and executing a regression suite using Selenium, Java, Maven, and Cucumber.
• Involve in functional, regression testing, and defect retesting.
• Identification of defects, raising, tracking, and validation in the ALM.

Smart meters are the next-generation meters for gas and electricity. As per the regulatory requirement in the UK, all residential and SME customers need to have smart meters installed by energy suppliers by 2020.

Smart meters come with an in-home display screen that shows you exactly how much energy you're using in pounds and pence, which will bring an end to estimated bills.

Reduce the data manipulation by customers and suppliers on meter reads, consumption, demand, and prices.

Responsibilities

• Worked as a test analyst, onsite coordinator, and release coordinator for the SMART DCC project.
• Involved in framework design using Selenium WebDriver, Maven build tool, TestNG configuration, and Jenkins to accomplish project requirements.
• Worked on functional testing of mobile web applications on different platforms and cross browsers (Google Chrome, IE11, Firefox, and Edge browsers).
• Involved throughout the sprint, starting from the sprint grooming, refinement, to the production release.
• Estimating the requirements, user stories, and working closely with developers by developing the BDD tests and framework.
• Commissioning, installing, and getting meter reads of real SMART fuel meters.
• Testing is comprised of CRM Testing, Web Services Testing, Database Testing, Continuous Integration and Deployment, Integration, and E2E testing, Interaction with Emulators and Simulators in ST, and Regression using TestNG.
• Handling multiple teams of size 4-5 people and involved in discussions with the client on requirement analysis, estimation of testing efforts, test case reviews, deployments across environments, and test execution sign-off for production releases.
• Designing and Executing Test Scripts.
• Developing the automation scripts for manual test cases in every sprint.
• Key tasks involved certifying the application fit for UAT, and production cutover after the completion of System, Integration, and Regression Testing.
• Act as a single point of contact for integration testing needs, coordinate, and facilitate testing with support from various application support teams.
• Maintaining regression packs by adding new test cases to them as in-sprint automation, and running regression packs for every release through Jenkins.
• Key member in the knowledge transfer process across applications and various functionalities with respect to business flows.
