Project brief: Contributed to a large-scale project in the travel domain for Japan Airlines, focused on end-to-end functional testing of airline applications including Inventory, Reservation, Ticketing, E-commerce, Fares, Departure Control System (DCS) and Revenue accounting. Additionally supported new feature implementations and system developments to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
· Performed functional, user acceptance, regression, and baseline testing across various airline streams of the Passenger Service System (PSS), including Reservation, Ticketing, Inventory, Fares, E-commerce and Departure Control System (DCS).
· Reviewed functional specifications to derive test cases and validate them against real-world airline workflows and ensured clarity and completeness in aligning test cases with functional specifications.
· Created comprehensive test matrices and clear, concise test cases based on functional and business requirements.
· Worked onsite at the client location for the implementation of Auto Document Check (ADC) and Carrier Connect testing within the DCS.
